Finals Week

Dear FM,

As we adjust to colder temperatures and make holiday plans, let’s remember ‘tis the season for final exams too. We will work with our partners from the Office of Classroom Management (OCM) over the next week to provide students and faculty with a great finals experience.
Finals week begins Thursday, December 15th with a Study Day. The last day of exams is Thursday, December 22nd. Study days will take place on Thursday, December 15th and Sunday, December 18th. General purpose classroom hours will be extended on Saturday, December 17 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to meet the needs of students and faculty during finals week. On Sunday, December 18, all classrooms in weekend buildings will be open from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. to accommodate students for official University study days. Weekend buildings include the following:
  • East Bank: Bruininks Hall, Folwell Hall, Keller Hall, Nicholson Hall, Rapson Hall
  • West Bank: Blegen Hall, CSOM, Hanson Hall, Humphrey Center
  • Saint Paul: McNeal Hall, Peters Hall, Ruttan Hall
During Finals Week please have all classroom buildings prepared and ready to go by 7:00 am. Please be attentive to building entrances for anyone who might have difficulty entering a building to take or administer a final exam.
During the study and exam days we need to limit disruptions (noise, strong odors, HVAC outages, construction, etc.) in and around classrooms and classroom buildings. Please plan accordingly.
Thanks for helping to provide students with the facilities they need to study for and take their final exams.

Have a great week.
